Hi, I’m Chasidy — the one usually behind the camera, occasionally hauling props across a field, chasing the best light, fixing flyaways, and promising you “just trust me” with a grin. Years ago, I picked up a camera with a big dream and a whole lot of trial and error, photographing anything (and anyone) who would stand still long enough, never imagining that little creative outlet would grow into the business and life I have today.

Somehow I’m heading into Year 9 of Chasidy Shae Photography, and it still feels a little unreal. What started as simply taking pictures in 2017 has become something so much deeper, because to me photography has never been about stiff poses or forced smiles — it’s about connection, emotion, and telling stories honestly and beautifully. I want your photos to feel like you: the laughter, the quiet glances, the wind in your hair, the chaos, the tenderness, and all those in-between moments that end up meaning the most.

I’ll guide you every step of the way and hype you up like it’s my full-time job (because it kind of is), making sure you feel comfortable, confident, and completely yourself in front of my camera. I’m drawn to golden hour light, open fields, vintage details, and timeless tones, and I can go from farm boots to wedding heels faster than you’d think, balancing muddy pastures and elegant venues like it’s second nature.

My heart belongs to my husband, our sweet little farm life, and our two cocker spaniels, Sadie Belle and Maggie Mae — the true bosses around here — and that slower, intentional life has shaped how I see the world and how I photograph it. Life has also taught me just how quickly time moves and how precious memories really are, which is why this work feels so personal to me; I don’t just take photos, I help families hold onto seasons they never want to forget.

From weddings and newborns to milestones and growing families, I’ve had the honor of walking alongside so many clients year after year, becoming not just their photographer but someone they trust to document their story through every chapter, and there’s nothing more meaningful than that.
